SESSION AND BOOKING FEES
Sessions are booked by payment of your session fee and where applicable weekend fee.
The payment of our booking and session fee is to reserve your shoot date, time and current fees. Your session fee does not include any prints or products, including digital files. These are available for purchase.
Your fees and shoot date are not reserved until your booking fee has been paid.
If you have received a gift card from a friend, one of our partnered businesses or via winning a prize, the relevant session fee will be deducted from the value of your gift certificate.
Limited weekend dates are available, due to the popularity of our limited weekend dates, an additional weekend fee is payable to reserve these times. Refer to our pricing and products page for the current fee.
In the case of a prize, promotion or partner gift card, the weekend fee must be paid at the time of booking and cannot be drawn from the value of the gift card. The session fee can be deducted from your gift card.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
As we can rarely rebook a spot at late notice, cancellations within 7 days of your session will result in the forfeit of your session and weekend fee.
If someone in your family is unwell within this time frame, please let us know as soon as possible.
If the weather is not suitable for your location session, we will reschedule for a new date.
If Lilypad Photography cancels the session, we will provide you with a full refund of the session fee.
Re-shoots are at the discretion of the Studio and are not given for regretful personal choices such as hair and clothing.
CLIENT CAMERA/PHONE CAMERA USAGE
To avoid disruption to the photographic coverage and to allow your Photographer to capture beautiful images of your family, photography, videography etc by family/friends during the shoot is not permitted.
PRICING AND PRODUCTS
We happily provide all clients with a pricing guide upfront, both printed, on our website and over the phone. You agree that you have received, read and understand the Studio’s price list.
Your pricing is guaranteed from the time you book until 60 days after your session. After this time, any new pricing may apply.
You agree that ALL interested parties have received, read and understood the Studio’s price list before booking. Our goal is to create images that you simply can’t live without. Please prepare yourself to LOVE all of your images.
ORDERING AND STORAGE OF IMAGES
Your images are backed up and secured from the time of your session until your design and ordering session.
All unordered images are only retained for 60 days from the finalisation of your order.
If you are unable to make a decision regarding the purchase of images, or no purchase is made, your images are only guaranteed to be kept on file for 60 days from your design and ordering appointment.
Ordered images are backed up and stored for at least 12 months. Further to this, we will endeavour to keep a copy for as long as is practical.
PAYMENT | PAYMENT PLANS
Full payment or 50% deposit for your order is due at the time of ordering and can be made by cash, direct deposit or credit card.
Payment plans are available via flexible studio layby or interest-free through PayRight, minimum 10% deposit required and terms available for up to 12 months.
Lilypad Photography retains the copyright of all images. Printing, copying, downloading, screenshots or scanning images without written consent is prohibited by Australian copyright law.
Digital files, when purchased, will be supplied with unlimited reprinting rights for personal use only. This might include, but is not limited to, printing, copying or emailing.
Images may not be used for commercial or editorial purposes or entered into contests without the express permission of Lilypad, who retains all copyright as per Australian Copyright Law.
Original RAW files and digital files remain the property of Lilypad Photography.
Unless otherwise indicated on your agreement or in writing, it is agreed that the Studio may use any image from your session for industry competitions and as required for reasonable general promotional material for the Studio.
Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we cannot offer a refund or exchange if you change your mind once the order has been placed with our suppliers.
If the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will do everything in our power to make it right and provide you with the correct item as ordered. If that is not possible for some reason, we will provide you with a refund on the return of the damaged/faulty goods.
Where are refund is given, this will be returned via the payment method in which it was made (credit card/stripe/direct transfer etc) and is subject to fund transfer times depending on the bank/institution.
Gift cards or vouchers are not refundable or redeemable for cash.
Your products will be ready for collection approximately 2-5 weeks after the order has been placed with our suppliers. Prints are approximately 2-3 weeks. Albums, canvas and framed products 4-5 weeks. All times are approximate.
We appreciate the prompt collection of your order once it’s ready. Lilypad Photography may dispose of any orders not collected within 12 months of you being advised it is ready for collection. Reprinting costs will apply.
DIGITAL FILE STORAGE
Once supplied via our online app, we guarantee access and security of your files for six months. Beyond this time, handling, storage, and maintenance of your digital and printed portraits is your responsibility. MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR DIGITAL FILES, preferably to two locations: local and cloud-based.
For less than a cup of coffee a month, subscribe to our "Lilypad File Safe", and you'll have peace of mind knowing your precious images are protected. Ask us for more information.
