Lilypad Photography is looking for kids aged 2 to 16 and their dogs to be part of our EXCLUSIVE book, “The Besties Project 24” that celebrates kids and the special relationship they have with their dogs.

Lisa (And Evie)

A photographer to the very heart. A Mum of two kids growing faster than weeds in her garden and one cheeky fur baby Evie, her sole focus is to capture what you love about your family and create art that becomes a part of your home and your legacy. Your family. Forever.

What does that mean for you? It means you can relax. Lisa will capture images of your family you’ll love but best of all, you’ll have so much fun doing it.

It really is all about you!
Maegan

Originally from Fiji, Maegan brings some chilled island flair to the studio. Her specialty is photographing Newborns, so you will often find her capturing the precious little details of your newest arrival in our studio.

Maegan is also a incredible professional paddler and often spends her late afternoons on the ocean with her team. She loves reading, eating delicious healthy vegetarian food and going for walks along the beach!
Alinta

If you phone the studio, you will often be chatting with Alinta. 

Previously Alinta was a wedding photographer; obsessed with capturing the magical moments in your family. 

Fashion Guru, Community champion and mama of four, Alinta guides you with expertise and warmth to create your perfect family session.

ABOUT THE KIDS CANCER PROJECT

The Kids with Cancer Project raises funds for medical research to help kids with cancer. They believe the only way to improve outcomes for kids with cancer is through advances in medical research and to help find kinder, more effective treatments.

FAQ's

How much will it cost me?
$50. This will be donated directly to The Kids Cancer Project
What is included? 
The opportunity to be photographed by an award-winning photography studio. PLUS a $200 voucher to put towards our print and digital collections.
What's not included?
The photos taken during the session are not included. At your design and ordering appointment, you will get to see the whole collection of photos from your session with us, and you can purchase prints, artwork, albums and digital files if you wish to. You will also have the option of purchasing a copy of the 2024 Besties Project book.
When can I do the shoot?
Sessions are usually on weekdays, Tuesday to Friday but weekend slots are possible! These are super popular, so there's an additional $50 fee to cover the high demand. A weekend sunset session is an extra $100
Where are the sessions?
Sessions are done in our gorgeous Myaree studio.  For those wanting to have the whole family photographed, the session can be at one of a selection of outdoor locations including parks, riverside and beaches.
Can my whole family be involved?
Absolutely! We have a habit of convincing everyone who comes along to be in the photos (look out, Grandma). We encourage you to bring the whole family along to make the most of the session.
Can I purchase photos?
Yes, of course! A week or two after your session, you will be invited back to the studio to view the images. There is absolutely no obligation to buy; choose only what you love. We have printed artwork and digital collections available.
How much are the photos?
Good question! We are upfront with all our pricing of our beautiful artwork. Our digital collections and wall art start from $795 ($595 after your credit). There’s a guide to our favourite products & prices on our website!.
Will my child’s photo definitely be in the book? Can I choose the image?
Every child photographed for the project will be included in the book. To keep the design consistent, we will choose the image. However, rest assured we will be picking our absolute favourite!  Families who invest over $1200 will be guaranteed a double page spread in the book. Families who choose to simply donate will be included in a contributors section at the back of the book. 
When will the book be published and what will it cost?
We are committed to raising a decent amount of funds for the Kids Cancer Project. However, the project has been very popular so we anticipate being able to publish the book in time for Christmas.

Final pricing will depend on the number of books printed but we expect it to cost about $75-$90.
