Lilypad's LITTLE book of ABCs

The second edition of our Little Book of ABCs will be a playful children's book featuring our gorgeous babies of Perth and all the animals from A-Z. There really is no other book of its kind! 

This will be a beautiful keepsake your child will look back on well into their adult years.  And maybe your baby will proudly read it to their babies!  

Lilypad's Little Book of ABCs will be around 15cm square with a high gloss hardcover. 

Each page will be printed on beautiful thick satin paper, ensuring your Lilypads Little book of ABCs provides a lifetime of joy.

ABOUT THE KIDS CANCER PROJECT

The Kids with Cancer Project raises funds for medical research to help kids with cancer. They believe the only way to improve outcomes for kids with cancer is through advances in medical research and to help find kinder, more effective treatments.

Lisa

A photographer to the very heart. A Mum of two kids growing faster than weeds in her garden, her sole focus is to capture what you love about your family and create art that becomes a part of your home and your legacy. Your family. Forever.

What does that mean for you? It means you can relax. Lisa will capture images of your family you’ll love but best of all, you’ll have so much fun doing it.

It really is all about you!
Maegan

Originally from Fiji, she brings some chilled island flair to the studio. She’s photographed newborns for several years now and we’re so happy she decided to make Perth her home.

Maegan is also a fancy-professional paddler and often spends her late afternoons on the ocean with her team. You’ll even find her there on some chilly winter mornings! And while it’s cold on the water, Maegan is as warm and friendly as they come!
Evie

At just over one, she’s still a tad too cheeky to spend much time in the studio. But when she does, Evie is our Chief Health, Wellness and Happiness Officer.

Evie is in charge of providing warm cuddles, wet kisses, and keeps us active with daily walkies. When allowed in the office, she can be found snoozing on Lisa’s feet like a pair of ugg-boots and providing humorous background noises.

FAQ's

How much will it cost me?
$85 plus the cost of your favourite images.  The $85 covers the cost of printing your copy of our premium Little Book of ABCs only.  Funds are being raised through a 5% donation of portraits purchased.
What do I get?
A copy of the first edition of our beautiful premium book "Lilypad's Little Book of ABCs". The opportunity to be photographed by an award-winning studio. And a $200 voucher to put towards our digital and print collections.
Where are the sessions?
Sessions are held in our gorgeous Myaree studio.  We have a lovely mix of casual, boho and classic settings.
When can I do the shoot?
Shoots are held on weekdays and selected weekends. School holiday dates are available, but these book fast.
Can my whole family be involved?
Absolutely, we want to raise as much as we can for the Kids Cancer Project so we'll be prioritising families that are also looking to update their family portraits! We have a habit of convincing everyone who comes along to be in the photos (look out, Grandma). We encourage you to bring the whole family along to make the most of the session. Plus, we really want to raise funds
Do we have to purchase photos?
The purpose of this project is to raise funds for the Kids Cancer Project with 5% of all sales being donated. We really want to raise as much as we can for the Kids Cancer project (5% of all sales will be donated), so we will be prioritising families who are also looking to update their family portraits.  A week or two after your session, you will be invited back to the studio to view the images, this is a requirement for being included in the book. Choose only what you love, but be warned, you're going to love them all 😊.  Families invest in portraits will be guaranteed a full page in the book. Families who choose to simply be in the book will be included as a small image on a contributors page at the back of the book.  There’s a guide to our favourite products & prices on our website! 
Where are the sessions?
The sessions will be held in our gorgeous studio in Myaree.  We have a great range of options, from casual, boho, to classic available.
Will my child’s photo definitely be in the book? Can I choose the image?
Every baby photographed for the project will be included in the book. To keep the design consistent, we will choose the images. However, rest assured we will be picking our absolute favourites.. As mentioned above, so we can raise as much as we can for the Kids Cancer Project. Families who invest in portraits will be guaranteed a full page in the book. Families who choose to simply be in the book will be included as a small image on a contributors page at the back of the book.​


Can we choose our babies Animal?
We will do our best to put your baby's favourite animal and letter in the book.  However, depending on popularity, your favourite letter may be taken.  We'll fill the letters and animals on a first come first served basis.  
When will the book be published and what will it cost?
We hope to have the book printed by March 2023, however, this will depend on how quickly we can fill the places and complete the sessions. However, we don't want to rush the book and compromise the design.

One copy of the book is included with your session fee. Additional copies may be purchased for a pre-sale figure we expect to be around $85.
