We know you're crazy busy in between organising the first birthday party and . . . well, life!  So we'll do all the hard work for you and even organise the cake!

We have different themes, colours and styles to choose from. As well as a gorgeous curated range of on-trend outfits, props and decorations, including flowers, bunting, foliage, and balloons.

You could go for a single colour or mix and match a combination of colours to suit your style. We'll completely tailor it to you. 

Once you book your session, we'll show you a gorgeous range of cakes, backdrops and sets. Simply choose what you love, and we will make it Ah-mazing!.

Personalised ArtWORK 

Whether you're looking to create a digital collection to share with friends and family around the world or you want to transform your home with custom-designed art pieces, we are here to guide you through the whole process from start to finish.

From stunning wall art, to custom collages and albums, we'll make sure you have professionally produced artwork to mark this major milestone.

ALLERGIES & SPECIAL DIETS?

Lilypad has been photographing families for almost 17 years. Our priority is the safety of you and your little one first, then to capture the image that you have always wanted.

Our cakes are baked by a professional local cake maker, and made fresh to order.  

If you have an allergy or dietry requirement, please let us know, so we can ensure you and bub are well catered for.

Studios surfaces are wiped down and sanitised between each session to keep us all healthy.

FAQs

Can we do the session on a weekend?
Limited weekend dates are available for a small additional $50 fee.  

Weekends, particularly at our popular sunset times book out early, book early to avoid disappointment.
Do you provide the cake?
YES! It's important that we provide the cake for you. Our professional baker knows which icing makes the most mess and looks the best in photos. (Plus you don't have to worry about burning or dropping the cake before you arrive)

If you have an allergy or dietry requirement, please let us know, so we can ensure you and bub are well catered for.

Do you provide outfits for my baby?
We have a gorgeous wardrobe of outfits that you are welcome to use. Our outfits are more of the timeless style rather than heavily themed.
How long is the session?
Generally and hour, give or take 15 minutes. Sometimes we get what we need super fast, and other times, it takes a little longer.
Do our photos have to go on your socials and website?
Absolutely not. We are here to capture YOUR family, for YOU. When you book, we ask if you are happy for us to share or you would prefer to keep them private.
My child has scratched their face, do we need to reschedule?
95% of the time no. As long as the mark doesn’t crossover with a tricky spot to retouch out (like lips) or hasn’t swollen and changed its shape it’s easy to fix in photoshop. Text a photo to us if you’re not sure and we will let you know.

Marks, kids rashes, or scratches can often be easily removed afterwards. . . unless, of course, you’d prefer us not to. Those tiny imperfections often help capture their personality.
What should we wear?
When you book, we'll invite you to our online client lounge that has some great tips on what to wear. And what not too! Pinterest is a great source of inspiration and colours. We recommend coordinating rather than matching for a timeless look.
I'm worried that my child won't sit still or follow instructions. Will you still get good photos?
It’s the “character” kids that often produce the best shots . . . We’ve been photographing kids for over 15 years and have become quite the kid wrangling experts. Some kids are harder to capture than others, but our sleeves are really long and full of tricks to get the best out of your little ones. Your job is to relax, smile, and leave the kids to us.
Can we get the digital files?
Yes! We offer both digital and printed collections. You believe you should be able to order your family portraits, YOUR way.

Matching Digital files are also complimentary with any image ordered in print.
What will it cost me?
That depends on your individual needs and wants.

Rest assured, there is never any high-pressure sales tactics. You’ll purchase only what you want.

You will be provided with a full and complete price list before you book your session, so there are no surprises.

We find most clients spend between $600 and $3000.

How do we order our portraits?
At the end of your session, we will lock in a time in the next week or so for you to come into the Myaree studio or meet us via zoom for your design and ordering appointment. We have all the products on display and are experts at designing the perfect artwork for you and your portraits.
What is your cancellation policy?
As we can rarely rebook a spot at late notice, cancellations within 7 days of your session will result in the forfeit of your session and weekend fee.

If someone in your family is unwell within this time frame, please let us know as soon as possible.

If the weather is not suitable for your location session, we will reschedule for a new date.

If Lilypad Photography cancels the session, we will provide you with a full refund of the session fee.

Lisa

A photographer to the very heart. A Mum of two kids growing faster than weeds in her garden, her sole focus is to capture what you love about your family and create art that becomes a part of your home and your legacy. Your family. Forever.

What does that mean for you? It means you can relax. Lisa will capture images of your family you’ll love but best of all, you’ll have so much fun doing it.

It really is all about you!
Maegan

Originally from Fiji, she brings some chilled island flair to the studio. She’s photographed newborns for several years now and we’re so happy she decided to make Perth her home.

Maegan is also a fancy-professional paddler and often spends her late afternoons on the ocean with her team. You’ll even find her there on some chilly winter mornings! And while it’s cold on the water, Maegan is as warm and friendly as they come!
Evie

At just over one, she’s still a tad too cheeky to spend much time in the studio. But when she does, Evie is our Chief Health, Wellness and Happiness Officer.

Evie is in charge of providing warm cuddles, wet kisses, and keeps us active with daily walkies. When allowed in the office, she can be found snoozing on Lisa’s feet like a pair of ugg-boots and providing humorous background noises.
