A few weeks ago, I was honoured to photograph this lovely family. Their “baby” is about to leave the nest and move to Canberra for university. I couldn’t think of a more perfect time to update their family portraits. I grew up and went to university in Canberra as well, it sent me back years just talking about university life, with marriage and two small children and a few years travel under the belt since then, it seems almost a life time ago how much would I love to have some gorgeous family portraits to look back on this exciting time in my life.

These gorgeous twins were 100 days old when I photographed them, a very significant date for the Chinese.  They came a little early their adjusted age is a little less than 100 days.  I love photographing twins, even at the youngest of ages their bond is something truly special.  These two cherubs would link hands when ever we put them together, they even linked toes, it just melts your heart doesn’t it!

This gorgeous little lade came to me when she was six weeks old for some gorgeous newborn portraits.  I love love love that sweet little smile.

I was excited to be photographing this wonderful family a few weeks ago, even more when I learnt their address as they were only a few houses up my street and around the corner!  The boys were great fun to capture, keeping me on my toes!  I managed to capture the sweet smiling family images, but I have to say this first image is my favourite – it’s one of those images that makes me giggle when I’m proofing my sessions.\

Last week I spent a wonderful afternoon capturing this family before they become four, and move house!  Such a gorgeous family and a beautiful house they have renovated.  I can’t wait to meet the newest member in a few weeks time.  The proud big sister to be insisted I stay after the session to take one more picture of her, because her Daddy can throw her so so soo high in the pool.  It was more than worth the wait!

Over the Christmas break I was lucky enough to photograph this extended family, it’s the first time these brother’s have been together in 9 years! Lucky I got in early before the catching up began in earnest : ). You might recognise one of the one brother from the great fun family session at the beach a few weeks back.

This is the second session in this gorgeous little  boys life, I first took his newborn portraits when he was just brand new and just before Christmas we met up again to capture the next gorgeous stage for photographs.  Around 7 to 8 months of age when bubs can sit but not crawl – if they do it in that order!  He’s growing up so much like his brother – this family just keep looking better and better!

For my last post before Christmas I am delighted to share a sneaky peak of a beach family session – perfect for Christmas in Perth!  As you can see we had a great time and have captured some gorgeous images for this family to share with their extend family overseas.  In the spirit of Christmas I chosen images that really  highlights the fun of this beach loving family!

I feel I have already known this little girl for years.  Her Mum and I did pregnancy pilates together while expecting our first babies, her biggest brother was born the day before my girl, in the same hospital and then we ended up in the same mothers group. Our second babies were only six week apart.  Her Mum has had her name picked out from before I even met her, she has just been waiting for the perfect time to arrive and claim her name. Welcome to the world gorgeous girl, so lovely to finally meet you!
